Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

Overview: ILD refers to a group of approximately 200 lung diseases that affects the lung’s interstitium (space between the air sacs and small blood vessels). Some of these diseases can cause Pulmonary Fibrosis, which is scarring of lung tissues. Treatments vary depending on the specific type of ILD.
